Our Term 2 assessment period for Years 1 – 6 will start on Wednesday 16th December 2020. Due to Ministry requirements, certain subjects need to be assessed online which means that there will be no online Zoom classes, in-school sessions, and/or any activities from the 16th – 23rd December as students will be expected to attend their assessments via Zoom at the scheduled time. We will be sending the finalised timetable before the assessments, so kindly ensure that your child has the below requirements to enable them to have a smooth and secure experience during that week.
Requirements for each Zoom assessment:
1. A stable internet connection.
2. A quiet room as students will not be allowed to be on mute during the assessment session to ensure they are working fully independent.
3. Outlook email address and password which will be provided by the homeroom teachers.
Please be reminded of the importance for students to complete all the assessments independently, as we can only get a clear measure of their performance and development with a true reflection of their understanding, in order to support their development further. The only assistance that students will need is to sign into their emails at the beginning of the session.
